Project Development Blog Entry In this page, I will: 1. Briefly describe my team chemical device 2. Show how the team planned, allocated the tasks, and executed the project. 3. Document the entire design and build process of the chemical device and include videos, pictures, and screen captures of the processes. 4. Include “Hero shot” of every milestone of the processes, example the part A that was 3D printed, part B that was laser-cut, electronics components moved/worked according to the program. Hero-shot is taken with the person-in-charge holding/working/making the parts. 5. Include the name of the person who was in-charge of every part of the project. 6.   Gears Documentation Blog Entry 1.     These are the definition of gear module, pitch circular diameter and the relationship between gear module, pitch circular diameter and number of teeth:   Gear Module Indicates the size of the tooth of the gears. Gears can only mesh with each other if they have the same gear module.    Pitch Circular Diameter(PCD) Pitch circular diameter is the diameter of the gear measured from the center of one tooth of one end of a gear to the other.  Relationship The gear module is directly proportional to the PCD based on the formula for finding the gear module.      2.     Below is the relationship between gear ratio (speed ratio) and output speed for a pair of gears.
